- Complete the free readiness assessment and enter your email address to receive your – Essential level readiness results. If needed, answer a few additional questions to see whether your property may be ready for an – Enhanced level application.
- Review your results to learn what actions may still be needed — or whether you’re ready to apply.

- A $125 non-refundable application fee is required when you submit a designation application.
- Before applying, review the Wildfire Prepared Home: How-To Prepare Checklist and complete all required mitigation actions for the level you’ve chosen.
