Reducing your home’s risk to wildfires could require making some physical changes to your home and property. Learn about mitigation resources that may be available to help.
Find Assistance in Your State
Wildfires affect communities across the U.S., but some states have an elevated risk. Wildfire Prepared Home provides a set of mitigation strategies to help reduce wildfire risk. This program is currently only available in California, but additional states will become eligible in the future. Find out if there are resources available in your area.

Allied Disaster Defense has a holistic approach to help homeowners and communities in wildfire hazard zones reach the Wildfire Prepared Home designation. Allied customers can proactively protect their homes from wildfire damage. Contact Allied for a wildfire risk assessment and to do the work to get your home wildfire prepared. Once the work is complete you will be ready to apply for a Wildfire Prepared Home designation to send to your insurance company.

Wildfire mitigation vendors interested in referencing Wildfire Prepared Home or using the Wildfire Prepared Home logo in marketing materials should submit a Trademark Licensing Application. Trademark Licensing Applications will only be considered from vendors who provide products or services that help with meeting the Wildfire Prepared Home and Wildfire Prepared Home Plus standard.
