ACTION REQUIRED:You must complete your annual review, using these steps:1. Preparation: Perform Annual Review maintenance as outlined in the “How-To Prepare My Home Checklist”.2. Application and Payment:
- Login to the Wildfire Prepared Portal.
- Click the “Start Annual Review” button and complete the required fields.
- Pay the nonrefundable application fee.
3. Take Photos:
- Stand at each corner of your home and take clear photos along the sides, showing the 0-5 Foot Noncombustible Zone on all sides. Take at least two photos per side – one from each corner.
- From 30 feet away, take wide-angle photos from the front and back of your home, ensuring both corners are visible. Take at least two photos of the front and two of the back.
4. Upload Photos and Submit: Submit your photos.5. IBHS Review and Approval:
- Our team will review your photos within a few business days.
- Once approved, your home’s designation status will remain “Active” for another year.
6. Follow-Up (If Needed):
- If more work is required, we’ll guide you by providing feedback and next steps.
Note: Failure to complete all required steps by the designation anniversary date will change your home’s status to “Inactive” and result in a late fee when reapplying.
